What’s it all about?

Had a clear out?  Saving up for something special?  As the old saying goes, “someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure”.  So, jump on board and join Woodend’s annual whole town garage sale on Saturday, 13 March 2021.

This year we are hoping for it bigger and looking for community groups to join with us to create a fabulous community event.

How does it work?

Sellers sign up to get their garage sale on the whole town garage sale map and we, the Neighbourhood House, sell maps on the day listing all the events around town.

This year we have some table space for some people to sell their goodies here at the Neighbourhood House. Tables will be available for a small fee.

Garage Sale 2020 cancelled update

Sadly we had to cancel the Garage sale in 2020 due to the global health crisis.

In 2021 we are planning it going ahead but we are asking everyone to be aware that restrictions may change again and  we may have to ask attendees to take extra precautions when visiting or running a garage sale. (ex. wearing masks again, using hand sanitizer, limiting contact.)

Hopefully it won’t be an issue, as we want everyone to have a fantastic day.
