Looking for a quick tune-up, a friendly chat, or simply a place to hang your helmet? The Woodend Community Bike Shed may be the place for you!
Drop in to the Woodend Community Bike Shed for basic bike maintenance and skill sharing. Everyone is welcome!
Building on the success of the Woodend Repair Cafe, a dedicated team of volunteers have launched the 'Woodend Community Bike Shed'. The vision for the space is a casual spot for basic bike maintenance and skill sharing.
Bring along your bike and our volunteer bike-shedders will help you get your bike in tip-top condition.
The service is completely free, though we do have a donations box if you would like to make a donation. If specific parts are required to repair your bike, we will advise you on what to buy and help you fit it at your next visit.
Depending upon volunteer availability, the Woodend Community Bike Shed aims to open weekly on Thursday evenings between 3.30pm and 5.30pm, as well as the first Saturday of each month between 9am and 1pm (coinciding with the Woodend Repair Cafe and Woodend Farmer's Market). The Bike Shed is located in 'The Hub' (formally the Woodend Toy Library), on the corner of Forest Street and Margery Crescent (near the skate park).
