Everyone is welcome at the Woodend Food Bank!
The Woodend Food Bank is located in the Undercroft of the
Woodend Neighbourhood House.
The Woodend Community Food Bank is open on Mondays and Thursdays between 12.30pm – 2.30pm in the Undercroft of the Woodend Neighbourhood House. Access to the Undercroft is via the gates by the Skate Park, off Margery Crescent.
Everyone is welcome to stop by and access food, household and personal hygiene items.
Donations are also very welcome via the collection bins in Coles and IGA in Woodend and cash donations can be made in person, via bank transfer or by clicking on make a donation button at the top of the page. Contact the Woodend Neighbourhood House between 9am – 3pm Monday to Friday to donate.

What Items can I donate to the Food Bank?
Items in demand include:

Breakfast cereal excluding Weet bix

Tinned items such as soup, tomatoes, baked beans, vegetables, fruit or fish

Spreads such as peanut butter, jam, vegemite, honey
-
Jars such as pasta sauces and stir fry meal bases

Instant meals and stock powder including gravy
-
Sauces including tomato sauce and BBQ sauce
-
Tea, coffee and long-life milk
-
Biscuits both sweet and savoury
-
Baking flour and sugar
-
Cheese and cheese slices, butter and margarine
-
Toiletries and sanitary products
-
Cleaning items such as washing up liquid, washing powder, sponges

Toilet paper and tissues
-
Pet food dry and wet
