Get out and active with the local Cycling Group. It’s a great way to meet people whilst enjoying the beautiful outdoors of the Macedon Ranges. All, novice, or champion, all riders are welcomed.
Join the 9am group for an easy ride or 10am for a ‘Tour de Woodend’ for confident riders.
Your bicycle and helmet – we also have a bicycle for hire if need be, just let us know!
Hubert Weisrock was busily involved in organising youth groups, camps and bike tours in his homeland of Germany. His 25 years as technical officer on all types of mercantile and passenger ships took him many times around the world. In September 1991, while still working full time on ships, he and his wife Anna started to build a mud brick house in Woodend. After his retirement in 2002 he wandered into the Neighbourhood House, where his passion for photography, gardening, walking and cycling, and DIY was soon put to good use.
To enjoy our free programs, we request you become a member of the Woodend Neighbourhood House. Other benefits of being a member of the House include a 10% discount on one course per year and free access to Wifi at the House. Membership only costs $10 per year.
