About the Event

What's it all about?

During this six-week pilot program, participants will be taught to use a range of basic tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, hand saws, chisels, drills and other tools. Once familiar with the tools, the participants will make three different items, including a bird nesting box (community project, working in pairs), a planter box and a personal project of their choice (options include cutting board, cheese board, pencil case etc.)

All tools and materials will be supplied and it is recommended participants bring a notepad and pen for taking notes.

There will be three tutors per night, to ensure there is good guidance for each participant throughout the program. Safety is paramount.

This pilot program is for people who identify as female.

Old clothes are recommended and jewellery should be kept to a minimum.
