Woodend Vocal Tuition

What's it all about?

Woodend Vocal Tuition is a school dedicated to teaching the art of singing to all age groups.

Whether you want to perform in singing competitions, sing at your local theatre group or school, or just simply sing at home for family and friends, Woodend Vocal Tuition can assist you achieve your goals.

What will we cover?

Classes will focus on:

• Developing a strong vocal technique, including breathing and voice placement
• Microphone technique
• Vocal exercises to improve vocal range
• Solo song performance
• Confidence building

Microphones will be used in each class for songs (but not exercises).

Songs will be selected by the teacher in discussion with the student.

Vocal exercises and backing tracks will be supplied.

Every student will be invited to participate in external solo singing showcases to build confidence and gain stage experience (showcases are not compulsory).

Who will be teaching?

Julie has been a singing teacher for over 30 years.

Prior to her move to Woodend, she owned and taught at a successful singing and dance school.

She has sung in various bands, including a showband in the UK for about 6 years prior to coming to Australia, and currently still sings in a duo.
