What's it all about?
Come along to the February Woodend Community Lunch and enjoy a delicious two-course meal at the RSL.
In February we remember the 40th anniversary of Ash Wednesday as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Woodend Neighbourhood House. The House was started as a short-term drop-in centre following the bushfires in 1983 by members of the local Red Cross.
For lunch, we enjoy sweet potato fritters and coleslaw. followed by lemon, yoghurt and apple teacake with custard.
Open to everyone, our lunches are a great opportunity to meet new people from your local community.
Bookings are required (to assist with catering) via our website, over the phone 5427 1845, or in person at the Woodend Neighbourhood House.
A donation on the day of $5.00 (if it’s affordable) or $10.00 (if you want to pay it forward) is appreciated, but by no means necessary.
