Everyone is invited to come along to the official opening of the Woodend Community Food Bank in its new location. Join the celebration and enjoy a sausage and a cup of tea in the recently renovated space.

What's it all about?
We couldn’t look past a sausage sizzle* to celebrate the new location of our dedicated Community Food Bank, right here in Woodend.
Come and join us in the Undercroft of the Woodend Neighbourhood House on Monday 27th March at 12.30pm for a snag, cup of tea and chance to see the fantastic new space for the Woodend Community Food Bank. Clients, volunteers, and supporters are all invited to join the celebration as we ‘cut the ribbon’ at our official opening.
The dedicated space for the Woodend Community Food Bank is thanks to the support of Woodend Men’s Shed, Gisborne Food Bank, CareWorks Sunbury, Bunnings Sunbury, Givit and several generous donations from members of the community. It will help us better respond to the increasing demand for food relief.
Going forward, the Woodend Community Food Bank will open on Mondays and Thursdays between 12.30pm – 2.30pm. Access to the Undercroft is via the gates by the Skate Park, off Margery Crescent, Woodend.
The humble snag is special. It brings people together in a truly Aussie way, and we hope everyone will join us as we celebrate our Food Bank’s new location!
