About the Event
What's it all about?
This one-hour workshop offers a grounded and inclusive exploration of meditation, suitable for both beginners and those with prior experience. We’ll revisit what meditation is (and what it isn’t), explore why people practise, and gently refresh foundational skills. The session includes simple techniques alongside short guided practices, offering space to learn, reflect, and reconnect with meditation in a supportive setting.
Who will be teaching?
Christine brings decades of experience and wisdom in various meditation practices, from Zen to Mindfulness. As a Meditation Facilitator, Spiritual Carer, and Buddhist Chaplain at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, she supports patients, families, and staff through meditation, spiritual care, and counseling. Christine also facilitates regular group and individual meditation sessions.
