About the Event

What's it all about? 

Rope Wool Baskets are great for a variety of storage and organisation solutions and they look good too!  It is a fun and easy craft to learn. Come along and learn how to make your own rope wool basket and get started on another craft addiction.

What will we cover? 

Step by step instructions of how to create a rope wool basket

What do I need to bring?

  • Scissors
  • Large wool needle
  • 1 – 2 meters of cotton rope (availiable in Woodend from Loose Change Bargains)
  • A 50gm ball of 12 ply wool
  • Your lunch – there’s a fridge and microwave at the House or pop out to a local café.

Who will be teaching? 

Vicki is your teacher. She’s got loads of craft experience and has been a volunteer and a tutor with the House for a number of years. She’s a wonderful teacher and full of energy.
