About the Event

What's it all about?

Are you curious about modern cloth nappies? Whether it is for cost savings, environmental impact by reducing waste, or the health benefits for your child; join Leesa from Darlings Downunder to discover the world of modern cloth nappies. She is a resident of Macedon Ranges, cloth nappy enthusiast and a mother of two toddlers. Her passion for cloth nappies has led her to running Darlings Downunder store - a local Macedon Ranges business located in Kyneton. She will take you through everything you need to know to get started with cloth nappies.

She will cover washing and fitting tips, dispel myths, show the different styles available and most importantly an opportunity to touch and feel the nappies and clarify doubts to get you confident with cloth nappies.

Prizes

All workshop attendees on the day will receive a $20 gift voucher for Darlings Downunder store to spend on cloth nappies and will also go in the lucky prize draw to win a modern cloth nappy starter pack, valued at $200.

Bookings

This free workshop is open to residents of Macedon Ranges Shire only and has limited capacity of 20 people to ensure an intimate environment where each participant can have their questions answered (Book here).

We strongly recommend bringing along your partner or a close family member or friend who may also be interested in learning about reusables. Having people around you on the same page on your cloth journey can help you to feel well supported. Please remember to book each person individually.

Council is a child safe organisation. You may bring babies and young children with you to the workshop but they are not eligible for the gift voucher or lucky draw prize. A booking is not necessary for babies and children.

If the date you are wishing to attend is booked out, please contact Krystina at Resource_Recovery_Admin@mrsc.vic.gov.au to add your name to the waitlist.
