About the Event
What's it all about?
We're delighted to welcome the Community Education team from Metro Trains to the Woodend Neighbourhood House for a rail safety and awareness session for seniors.
The session will be a fun and engaging way to get together and learn more about all things Metro.
The sessions will include:
- How to purchase and top up a myki card
- How to touch on/off with your myki
- Where to find help/assistance
- How to stay safe (and identifying safe people in uniform)
- Accessibility
- Concessions fares
- Timetabling and journey planning
- Accessing travel information using technology
Who will be there?
The session has been designed specifically for community and will be delivered by Jackie Phillips from the Community Education team from Metro Trains.
