About the Event
What's it all about?
The Woodend Neighbourhood House and Creative Me invite local unpaid carers to a pressed flower jar workshop.
Discover the art of preserving nature in a beautifully crafted pressed flower jar. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to arrange and encapsulate delicate pressed flowers onto glass jars to create stunning decorative pieces.
This workshop has been made possible thanks to the generous support of PS. My Family Matters.
Whether you're a full-time caregiver or just starting out on your caregiving journey, this workshop is a great opportunity to meet others who understand the joys and challenges of unpaid caring for loved ones. Each participant will create their very own pressed flower jar to take home.
Who will be leading the session?
Creative Me is a mobile art “un-school” working in the Macedon Ranges and beyond, our clients ranging from preschoolers to seniors. We run joyful creative workshops focused on process and the pleasure of making. We aim to inspire everyone to embrace their inner artist and grow in creative confidence.
Additional Information
The Pressed Flower Jars Workshop for Carers will run on Friday 14th March between 10am - 11.30am. It is free for unpaid carers, however registration is essential.
