About the Event

In a bid to strengthen local emergency preparedness, the Woodend community is invited to come together to strengthen how we respond to emergencies and disasters.
This two-part workshop will focus on practical, real-world scenarios and highlight the strengths already present within the community — ensuring that if disaster strikes, locals are ready to support each other.
Delivered by Red Flag in partnership with the Woodend Neighbourhood House and Macedon Ranges Shire Council’s Emergency Management and Recovery team, these sessions will strengthen community self-sufficiency by drawing on local knowledge, skills and resources.
