About the Event
Join us at the Woodend Neighbourhood House on Saturday 5 September for our Spring Open House, held alongside the Woodend Farmers Market.
From 9am to 12 noon, come along and discover what’s happening at the Neighbourhood House. Meet our tutors, activity coordinators, volunteers and staff, explore our spaces, pick up a copy of the Term 4 program and find out how you can get involved.
There will be a range of activities, demonstrations and displays throughout the morning, including:
Art Club for Kids display of works
Mandala greeting card craft activity
Picket fence painting craft activity
Morning tea
Repair Cafe
Bike Shed
Mahjong demonstration
Acrylic painting demonstration
African drumming demonstration - 10am to 10.30am
Family yoga - 10.45am to 11.15am
Kirtan demonstration - 11.30am to 12 noon
It’s a great opportunity to try something new, meet others in the community and discover the many activities, classes and groups available at the Woodend Neighbourhood House.
