What's it all about?
Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and calculation and involves a degree of chance. The game is played with a set of tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols in groups of four.
There is no beginners class in term 2, however players who know the game are welcome to register their interest via our website. Your contact details will be passed on to the group coordinator who will be in touch.
The group coordinator hopes to run a beginners class towards the end of 2025.
Term 2 2025 Information
Mahjong runs on a Tuesday afternoon in the Rodney Snell Function Room between 12.30pm and 3pm (2.5hour session).
In term 2 2025, the term runs for 11 weeks, starting on Tuesday 22nd April until Tuesday 1st July. The cost for the 11 week term is $55 (11 x 2.5hour sessions at $5 per session). Payment can be made online or in person at the Woodend Neighbourhood House.
