Time & Location
09 May 2025, 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Woodend Neighbourhood House, 47 Forest St, Woodend VIC 3442, Australia
About the Event
The Woodend Neighbourhood House and Creative Me invite local unpaid carers to a magnesium bath salts workshop.
In this hands-on session, you’ll craft your own blend of magnesium and Epsom salts, enriched with rose petals, mint, lavender, and rosemary. Each mix will be placed into a hessian bag and tied with twine, to take your personalized salts home — perfect for your next soothing bath or steam shower.
This workshop has been made possible thanks to the generous support of PS. My Family Matters.
Whether you're a full-time caregiver or just starting out on your caregiving journey, this workshop is a great opportunity to meet others who understand the joys and challenges of unpaid caring for loved ones. Each participant will create their very own magnesium bath salts to take home.
Who will be leading the session?
Creative Me is a mobile art “un-school” working in the Macedon Ranges and beyond, our clients ranging from preschoolers to seniors. We run joyful creative workshops focused on process and the pleasure of making. We aim to inspire everyone to embrace their inner artist and grow in creative confidence.
Additional Information
The Magnesium Bath Salts Workshop for Carers will run on Friday 9th May between 10am - 11.30am. It is free for unpaid carers, however registration is essential.
