Together with Woodend Playgroup, we’re excited to invite seniors and families with preschoolers to an Intergenerational Playgroup. These regular sessions bring seniors and children together to connect, share, and enjoy fun activities.

About the Event
What's it all about?
Calling all seniors and families with preschoolers!
Join us for a joyful intergenerational experience filled with play, stories, and laughter.
Seniors are invited to spend time with young children and enjoy fun, relaxed activities like arts and crafts, games, and storytelling.
It’s a beautiful way to build friendships, share wisdom, and brighten each other’s day.
This activity is facilitated by Woodend Playgroup.
Additional Information
The Intergenerational Playgroup meets on the first Friday of the month between 9am - 11am (please note there is no session in January or April 2026).
All participants that are not directly related to a child attending the session will need a Volunteer Working with Children's Check. If you do not already have a WWCC, please contact the Woodend Neighbourhood House who can assist you with this process.
There is no cost to attend this activity, however registration via our website is required.
