Together with Woodend Playgroup, we’re excited to invite seniors in our community to an Intergenerational Playgroup. These regular sessions will bring seniors and children together to connect, share, and enjoy fun activities together.

About the Event
What's it all about?
Calling all seniors! Come be part of a heartwarming experience where generations connect through play, stories, and laughter. Spend time with young children and enjoy fun activities like arts and crafts, games, stories and more. It’s a wonderful way to share your wisdom, make new friends, and brighten everyone’s day — including your own!
This activity is facilitated by the families of Woodend Playgroup.
Term 2 2025 Information
We are currently taking expressions of interest from seniors in our community for an Intergenerational Playgroup at Woodend Playgroup.
The Intergenerational Playgroup will meet on the first Friday of the month between 9am - 11am. The first session is planned as 1st August 2025.
All participants that are not directly related to a child attending the session will need a Volunteer Working with Children's Check. If you do not already have a WWCC, please contact the Woodend Neighbourhood House who can assist you with this process.
