About the Event

What's is all about?

How money works is about providing secondary school aged students with the skills and confidence to take control of their money, make smarter choices, and build a future filled with financial freedom and opportunity.

Research shows that 90% of Gen Z want to learn to be more confident in managing their finances, but they are not taught this at school. Given the increased cost of living pressures, now is the time to make the most with what we have.

  • Budgeting

  • Saving

  • Types of debt

  • Credit cards and how they work
