About the Event
What's it all about?
Gentle Yoga, Qi Gong and Guided Meditation is a 2.5hour relaxation workshop on a Sunday afternoon. During each session, Yong Kuo will introduce you to qigong therapeutic breathing exercises and mindful yoga postures. This will help you relax and prepare for a meditative state of mind.
Each session is suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, as the exploration of yoga and qigong breathing exercises will help you calm the mind.
Who will be teaching?
Yong Kuo has been teaching qigong and yoga for over 25 years. After 2 years training in the monastery of Burma and Thailand in 97-98, he returned to Melbourne to teach qigong and yoga in prisons, rehab centres and to Aboriginal elders.
Term 2 2024 Information
Yong Kuo will offer three separate sessions in Term 2. Each session can be booked individually or you can pay for multiple sessions at one time.
The sessions will run on Sunday 28th April, Sunday 26th May and Sunday 23rd June between 2.30pm and 5pm.
Please BYO yoga mats. Your instructor will provide yoga blocks and straps.
