About the Event

What's it all about?

In this one hour workshop, Macedon Ranges local and wild mushroom expert Greg Boldiston will guide us through the fascinating world of fungi ecology and its important role in forest recovery. Greg has a wealth of knowledge on all things fungi and has broad interest and knowledge of the natural world.

Greg will tell us about the amazing diversity of fungi that grow in local forests though his engaging presentation style and wealth of photos (including the one used for this webpage, respectfully stolen from Greg Boldiston's facebook page!).

Morning tea provided. There is no cost to attend, though a gold coin donation is welcome. Please RSVP to help with catering numbers.

Who will be speaking?

Greg Boldiston was born and raised in the forests and gardens of Mt Macedon. He is a trained horticulturist and plant collector, with a passion for natural science, the natural world and of course, fungi.
