About the Event
Are you prepared for an emergency?
Join the Emergency Management and Recovery Team from Macedon Ranges Shire Council for an informative session focused on building personal and community resilience in the face of emergencies. This free presentation is designed to help you and your loved ones feel more confident and ready should disaster strike.
Learn how to prepare for a range of emergencies — including bushfires, floods, storms, medical incidents and accidents — and take home a free Ready Get Go Bag to help you get started.
Each attendee will receive a Ready Get Go Bag containing:
Emergency Plan Template – a step-by-step guide to record essential information.
Contacts Sheet – key emergency contacts and communication channels.
Emergency Checklist – a practical list of items to pack or have ready to go.
Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. Being prepared can make all the difference.
We invite you to come along, ask questions, and take proactive steps to protect yourself, your family, and your community.
Who will be there?
The session has been designed specifically for community and will be delivered by the Emergency Management and Recovery Team from Macedon Ranges Shire Council.
Session Information
This session will run on Thursday 12th June between 2pm - 3.30pm. The Community Matters session is free to attend, however RSVP is encouraged to assist with planning.
