About the Event
Creative Yoga with Sarah
Building connections between mind, body and breath can help with the flow of life. As such connections can create foundations that invite strength, growth and confidence in the unique beings we each are.
We meet at the table to connect in conversation and creativity, building with woodend stones, magnetic blocks and big lego bricks.
Moving to the mat, we connect as a group, practicing breath flows and moving the body.
Then it's time to connect with our shine in the moment. Add a star to the energy you feel now - energised, grounded, sleepy - then pull a block (matching the colour of your energy) from the yoga-jenga tower to see what practice can be useful for that energy - but be careful the yoga-jenga tower doesn't fall!!!
And if you're not sure which energy, you can pull a wild block from the tower, and share what breath or movement feels right for the body in that moment!!!
After each exploring what energies are felt, we come together to share time connecting in a circle, before taking the time to pause and listen to a song while watching the stars.
Who will be teaching?
Sarah will be teaching this class.
After moving back to the Macedon Ranges in 2016, the opportunity to practice Yoga, on a personal level, unfolded for Sarah. Having passionately practiced Pilates for years, Sarah embraced the mat and Yoga teachings with a new curiosity, and quickly found that it offered a unique and calming practice, whilst providing a beautiful sense of coming home.
In 2021, having worked in the health industry for 14 years, Sarah completed the 200hr 'Teaching Training: Beginning Level' though the Integral Yoga Academy, as she felt there is much to gain from regularly practicing such a holistic offering. Sarah has since completed the Level 1 Kids Yoga Training with Yoga Kids Training Academy, with much appreciation for the fun and creativity such practice invites.
Now affiliated with Yoga Australia, Sarah is honoured to share space and passion for a practice she believes can strengthen and inspire the mind, body and soul.
