Continue Acrylic Painting (Term 2 2024)

Description

Under the expert guidance of our art tutor Marilyn, participants can start something new or bring along an unfinished acrylic painting. This supportive class will help reinvigorate your creativity.

Suggested materials to bring along for the class: 

• Canvas board 
• 8 x acrylics paints and brushes (list available upon request) 
• Surface on which to mix paint (for example a plastic plate) 
• Water container (for example a yoghurt pot) 
• Rags for cleaning

Attendees may also wish to bring along a 'wet palette'- which is a plastic tray (reusing a meat tray is ideal) with baking paper and a chux.

Who will be teaching?

Marilyn is a local artist with a lifetime of experience in art using porcelain, glass, acrylics, pencils, charcoal, watercolour, oils and pens.

Term 2 2024 Information:

This ten-week course will run on Friday afternoon from Friday 19th April until Friday 28th June between 1pm - 3.15pm. There is no class on Friday 7th June. The cost for the full term is $200 (2 hour 15 minute session at $20 each).

If you wish to join the class after the term has begun, our booking system will allow you to book for the remaining classes - assuming there is space.
