About the Event
Join local artist Marilyn Andrews for an inspiring workshop exploring the art of contemporary drawing with coloured pens. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this session will introduce you to exciting techniques to bring your drawings to life with vibrant colour, intricate line work, and creative composition.
Throughout the workshop, you will:
Learn how to use colored pens, fine liners, and pencils to create depth and texture
Experiment with line variation, shading, and layering to add dimension to your artwork
Explore pattern-making and contemporary mark-making techniques
Develop confidence in composition, balance, and artistic expression
Materials Provided: A selection of coloured pens, black and white fine liners, pencils, drawing paper, a ruler, and an eraser.

Who will be teaching?
Marilyn is a local artist with a lifetime of experience in art using porcelain, glass, acrylics, pencils, charcoal, watercolour, oils and pens.
Term 2 2025 Information:
This five hour workshop will run on Thursday 3rd July between 10.30am - 3.30pm. The cost is $75, which includes a materials kit for participants to use during the class and take home.
