About the Event
What's it all about?
A wicking bed is a self-contained garden bed with a built-in reservoir at the bottom. Water is drawn up through the soil to the plant roots via capillary action, making it an efficient and low-maintenance way to grow plants.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how wicking beds work and how to construct one using a raised galvanized planter or an IBC container.
No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm! Tools will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own gardening gloves.
Join us and be part of a vibrant community space!
