About the Event

What's it all about?

Water is vital in all communities – and, right now, Greater Wester Water is looking at all the options to manage water in the Macedon Ranges well into the future.

Greater Western Water is working to make sure it has enough water in a dry period, and can manage extra water when it’s very wet. That includes finding the best ways to use recycled water, which is always in strong supply.

More than anything, Greater Western Water want to hear from the Macedon Ranges community to plan how best to protect the region’s precious water for generations to come (for more information about Greater Western Water's Community Engagement project it the Macedon Ranges, visit their website.)

During our December Community Matters Session, Greater Western Water invites Macedon Ranges people to share their local knowledge and vision for the future of recycled water management in the region.

A light brunch will be served during the session. Please RSVP for catering purposes using the BOOK button on this webpage or by calling 5427 1845 Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm.

Who will be there?

Graham Holt is the Executive Community Lead for Greater Western Water, previously at Western Water before the merger of City West and Western Water. Prior to that he was with Central Highlands Water in Ballarat. Graham has many years of experience in the water industry including operations, customer service and communications. He really values being able to work and support communities where possible and being able to share challenges and work together with the community to find the best solutions. Graham vision is to maintain a strong community connection for Greater Western Water, even though it is a large water business.
