About the Event

What's it all about?

This Children’s Week, we're celebrating the theme "Everyone Should Know About Children’s Rights" by inviting local children to come together to help create a new mural at the Woodend Neighbourhood House.

The team at Creative Me will host this fun and creative workshop where children become both artists and changemakers!

Kids will collaborate to design and create a vibrant mural that highlights essential children's rights, such as the right to play, learn, and be heard.

This free event is open to children in Prep to Grade 2 and their families, with plenty of inspiration on hand. A second session will cater to children in Grades 3 - 6.

All materials are provided; just bring your imagination!

This Children’s Week event is presented by the Woodend Neighbourhood House in partnership with the Victorian Government.

Who will be leading the session?

Creative Me is a mobile art “un-school” operating in the Macedon Ranges and beyond, serving clients from preschoolers to seniors. They offer joyful creative workshops focused on the process and pleasure of making, inspiring everyone to embrace their inner artist and grow their creative confidence.
