About the Event

Chi Flow is a deeply relaxing combination of tai chi, qigong and yoga – a peaceful calming and therapeutic practice that tones the body and gently addresses many of today’s physical ills: eg. circulation, the immune system and postural problems that affect health and longevity. I use a creative collaborative experiential approach to develop confidence and personal growth. This practice is for all ages.

What will we cover?

Each session will introduce participants to:

  • Tai chi for effortless 3-dimensional movement
  • Qi Gong for principles of internal energy and use of Dantian
  • Indian and Tibetan yoga for energy production and principles of movement

Who will be teaching?

Susan is a Div. 1 registered nurse with qualifications in yoga teaching and a full member of IICT. She continues intensive training in Melbourne with remarkable yoga therapist and founder of the Chi Flow method – Roman Kouzmenko. This method has changed her physical health and life in many ways. Susan has taught music for over 40 years using the Suzuki method – a method she extends here to Chi Flow to assist young children to develop many physical and life skills. Music with gentle movement enhances joy, physical health and well-being, and also develops ear, eye, muscle and whole-body coordination. Her two-year-old grandson is delightfully engaged during an online session they do together. Susan is a qualified narrative therapist, principles of which she uses both in the practice or as a separate stand-alone therapy.

Susan is happy to offer regular Chi Flow classes to follow on from the initial taster course. Individual sessions also are currently available in Blackwood and may be extended to other areas upon request.

For further information on Chi Flow you may view Roman’s website
