About the Event

For people involved in food handling and preparation for others. Provides basic hygiene principles for all food handlers.

This one day course is structured to meet the needs of people who have not previously completed food safety training or would like to update their knowledge in light of the many changes over the past few years. The course is suitable for anyone handling or preparing food in any capacity (employed or voluntary).

There are no pre-requisites. As part of the assessment, you are required to handle food ingredients and ready to eat food items. This part of the assessment will occur during the preparation of lunch.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know so we can accommodate your needs. 

The course is delivered by Laurels Education & Training.
