Acrylics for Beginners and Intermediate

Come along and explore the use of acrylic paint on canvas during this four-week course. Suitable for beginners or intermediate artists, this course covers colour theory, composition and use of acrylic materials while painting a landscape and still life of your choice.

Materials 

• Canvas board 
• 8 x acrylics pains and brushes (list to be supplied) 
• Surface on which to mix paint (for example a plastic plate) 
• Water container (for example a yoghurt pot) 
• Rags for cleaning  

Attendees may also wish to bring along a 'wet palette'- which is a plastic tray (reusing a meat tray is ideal) with baking paper and a chux. 

 Who will be teaching? Marilyn is a local artist with a lifetime of experience in art using porcelain, glass, acrylics, pencils, charcoal, watercolour, oils and pens.
