At the recent Macedon Ranges Community Funding Scheme presentation night Woodend Neighbourhood House was awarded $3000 toward the cost of staging legal training for the six Neighbourhood Houses in the Macedon Ranges and for Not for Profit Organisations in Woodend. We are pleased to announce that Justice Connect who specialise in legal training for NFP Organisations will conduct 2 x 3 hour sessions at the House on Saturday February 16th 2019. The program has been particularly designed for Committee of Governance Members and is also suitable for senior employees where applicable.
Training will focus on two key areas:
- Volunteers & the Law
- Governing a Community Organisation
Training will be conducted by a lawyer from Justice Connect with significant experience in delivering training to community organisations in these two areas.
Session 1 will commence at 9.30am and conclude at 12.30pm. Session 2 will commence at 1.30pm and conclude at 4.30pm.
Participants can attend one or both sessions. Lunch will be provided for those wishing to attend for the full day. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.

Cost is $25 per session.
