About the Event
Under the expert guidance of our art tutor Marilyn, participants can start a new project or bring along an unfinished acrylic painting. This supportive class is designed for those with some experience in acrylic painting who are looking to refresh their skills and reignite their creativity.
Suggested materials to bring along for the class:
Canvas board
8 x acrylics paints and brushes (list available upon request)
Surface on which to mix paint (for example a plastic plate)
Water container (for example a yoghurt pot)
Rags for cleaning
Attendees may also wish to bring along a 'wet palette'- which is a plastic tray (reusing a meat tray is ideal) with baking paper and a chux.
Who will be teaching?
Marilyn is a local artist with a lifetime of experience in art using porcelain, glass, acrylics, pencils, charcoal, watercolour, oils and pens
Term 1 2026 Information:
This eight-week course will run on Friday afternoons from Friday 6th February until Friday 27th March between 1pm - 3pm. The cost for the eight-week term is $160 (2 hour session at $20 each).
If you wish to join the class after the term has begun, our booking system will allow you to book for the remaining classes - assuming there is space.
