About the Event
What's it all about?
Are you tired of weeding around your fruit trees? Do you feel like you’re constantly battling pests in your veggie garden?
Join us for a workshop on companion planting and fruit tree guilds. In this workshop you’ll learn about what you can plant alongside your fruit trees and veggie beds to help attract pollinators, suppress weeds and keep the pests at bay.
Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes (boots preferred) and bring a pair of gardening gloves.
No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm!
Who will be leading the sessions?
Jude is a qualified horticulturalist who runs her own gardening business. She has a specialist interest in indigenous and native plants, making private gardens a site of greater biodiversity and habitat, and spending time in the bush.
How do I get involved?
The Companion planting and Fruit Tree Guilds Workshop will take place on Tuesday 9th December between 10am - 12pm.
There is no cost to attend the workshop though registration is required via this website as placed are limited.
