About the Event
What's it all about?
Children aged 7+ are invited to join Penelope for some creative fun and explore a range of themes, mediums and techniques.
Sketch, weave, print, paint and draw with like minded individuals.
Term 4 will include some seasonal craft activities in line with calendar events, Halloween and Christmas.
All materials supplied.
Who will be teaching?
Local artist/educator, Penelope Cato is eager to share her experience and knowledge with budding young artists. Penelope has an abiding interest in nature, particularly plant life and a love for patterning and Japanese design.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Penelope has a background in design across disciplines and creates imaginative works with aesthetic appeal and subtle layers of meaning.
Her experience directing, inspiring and engaging primary students together with her passion for art make her an asset to our junior artistic community.

Term 4 2024 Information
Art Club will run for 9 weeks between Wednesday 16 October and Wednesday 11 December between 3.45pm and 5pmin The Undercroft of the Woodend Neighbourhood House (access is via the gates next to the skate park, off Margery Crescent).
The cost for the term is $234 (each 1 hour 15 minute session costs $26).
Wednesday 18th December will be a free session for those wishing to join or make up a session due to absence (bookings required via our website).
If you wish to join the class after the term has begun, our booking system will allow you to book for the remaining classes - assuming there is space.
Please note it is advised students bring along an art smock or old shirt.
