R U OK? Start a conversation and change a life
Woodend Neighbourhood House partners with RSL to host R U OK ? community lunch, Friday 8 September at 12pm at the Woodend RSL subbranch.
Community lunch is a great way to make new connections and start conversations. We know that a sense of connection and belonging boosts our well-being and ability to cope with life’s ups and downs. Lunch is informal and friendly with great food.
If you can’t make lunch you can always drop in for a cuppa. We’ll be at the RSL from 11am to 4pm with local service providers and community groups, including Cobaw Community Heath, Woodend Rotary, Woodend Community Bags and a local bookkeeper. Check in with a friend and pick up a ticket for them too; the more the merrier.
Tickets are essential as recent community lunches have been a sell-out. You can pay on the day and there’s no charge for children. It would really help if you could bring your children’s lunch with you.
