Woodend Neighbourhood House

  • Origami boxes
    Wednesday, 4 July  2018
    10:00 am - 2:00 pm

What it’s all about

Come along and make origami boxes from recycled picture books in this free school holiday workshop.  Come for a bit or stay for a while, it’s your choice.

These gorgeous boxes will be used to gift-wrap the Woodend Community Bag, and you’ll get your own box and a bag to take home.

What to bring

  • Children grade 3 and below need to come with a responsible adult.  Grade 4s upwards bring a buddy.
  • Your lunch and a snack – please don’t bring nuts
  • If you’ve got any old large-format picture books bring them along too.
  • Adult helpers with a current Working With Children check are very welcome – the more the merrier

About your tutor

Lorraine Masterman is the mastermind behind these gorgeous boxes.  They’ll be used as gift boxes for the Woodend Community Bags. Lorraine is well-known to many as the creative chef behind the Community Lunches.
