Expert seamstress Sue Hill will guide beginners and intermediate sewers to master their sewing machine and create gorgeous garments.

What will we cover?

  • Reading a pattern
  • Taking measurements
  • Cutting-out
  • Getting to know your machine

What do I need to bring?

  • Sewing machine (let us know if you would like to borrow one from the House)
  • Pins
  • Tape measure
  • Thread
  • Dressmakers’ chalk
  • Scissors

Who will be teaching?

Sue Hill has been teaching sewing for over 20 years.  Before that she worked in child care.  Sue is a kiwi so be careful with your ‘pins’ and ‘pens’ it can be tricky!
